It's possibly one of the hottest days of the year, so i felt like rocking a vest and skirt with the tights just incase it gets chilly. Excuse the nails for being rather under dressed for the camera. I love the collar necklace I'm wearing, i have noticed quite a few bloggers/youtubers are raving about the ones from Topshop. well unfortunately for me i come from a real shoddy town with a real shit Topshop that does not hold that much stock, so i used my noggin and did a bit of searching. This is where i found this beaut plus it comes in gold!!

Spring Shoes

To-Die-For Shoes

Reading the daily mail i saw a papped Rihanna coming from Ashton Kutchers house, now this isn't a gossip post of the slightest. I was actually more interested in what she was wearing. she looks like a badass 1950's housewife with the bandanna in her hair, bright red lips, bright red nails and most of all the bright red polka dot heels on her feet. Wearing a Vlieger & Vandam handbag and a gun around her neck certainly defies the whole 1950's housewife which is why i love this look so much. Breaking the rules is what spring is all about.

To-Die-For Shoes This Spring:
Its all about the shoes with straps, pointed toes, platform wedges, bold prints, two toned colours, snakeskin and yes the gladiators are back this spring so heres a few to catch your eye.

Derek Lam - Black and White Wedges

Viva Glam, Shop Mac, Cook Mac.

1) Cremeblend Blush 'Restores Dazzle'
2) Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel 'Wholesome'
3) Viva Glam Nicki's Lipstick 'Bright Yellow Pink Satin

1) SHOP MAC

SHOP MAC: Another new collection from MAC which comes in a very vibrant packaging, i am not too keen on the packaging but i suppose they needed all the products to stand out which they did as i was drawn to it immediately. I brought a creme blend blush in the shade 'Restores Dazzle' and i think i have been won over. i don't even want to think about a power blush at the moment! It really does just glide on the cheeks. I wasn't too sure as to buying this as i had never used a cream blush nor had i got a clue how to apply, but i tried and tested. I find that just tapping a stipple brush into it gently, patting it onto your cheeks and then blending it up and round your cheeks really works well plus you can always add more. The colour i got is also beautifully its just a pink wine colour which gives the illusion of flushed cheeks that don't look cakey. Again it is also long wearing so a 10/10

2) COOK MAC

Cook Mac: This isn't a very interesting product but it is a must have in every girls makeup collection. When i started really wearing makeup, the only eyeliner i used was Avon Gel Eyeliner and that was my go to. But after i had finished the pot and the brush went all manky, i opted for a cheaper/quick option which was liquid eyeliner. I have always really got o with both sorts but i felt like a change and thats when i came across this fluidline eyeliner gel from mac in the shade 'Wholesome'. Using this took me back to how much i loved using gel eyeliners and how much more you can really get definition with a brush, the pigmentation is amazing as well as the texture. Again a 10/10 from me oh and the packaging is so cute and the gingham look really gives it that kitchen feel, Even more reason to love it.

3) VIVA GLAM

I Just couldn't resist buying this, i brought this when it was at an special launch price of £13.50 so i am not too sure how much it is now. But nethertheless i really recommend you buying this it is such a good colour for the summer months ahead of us and also even to be used now i wore this when my outfit was all monochrome and it made my outfit look exciting! So it is a bright pink with yellow undertones so it is more suitable with people who have darker skin and yellow undertones in there complexion. The pigmentation is fab and so is the wear, although it needed topping up half way through the day the colour stayed on all day, which i was really impressed about. You can also buy a matching lip conditioner buy Ricky Martin now I'm not so sure why he has his own lip conditioner, but i was interested in buying if anyone has brought it can you let me know what it is like thank you. 10/10

March Glossy Box - Harrods Edition

1) Versace - Vanitas Versace Eau De Parfum
2) Bliss - Blood Orange and White Pepper Body Butter
3) Revive - Intensite Creme Lustre SPF30
4) Lancome - Juicytubes Toffee R'N'B 93
5) Clarins - Extra Firming Body Cream

This has been one hell of a long wait to receive this box every since i got my February box. In Februarys box; glossy box had left a card that said there would be a 'mystery box' coming soon. After collecting the letters given out every day, there it spelt 'Knightsbridge' which could only mean one thing HARRODS!

The harrods edition came in a shiny white box with the a statement monochrome logo, it looks really chic and classy. Opening the lid the monochrome is taken right through the box even to the inside on the lid and tissue paper which is the items are held together by the classic & original Harrods look of  green ribbon with a gold Harrods logo, So far i am more than impressed. no faults with packaging i love it! Now to the products i received.

After seeing all the ambassadors receiving their boxes weeks before at the launch night and writing reviews on the boxes. i was truly gobsmacked at the products, all i kept thinking was i want the burberry lipstick, the YSL eye serum, the ojon hair oil. etc etc. So as you can probably tell from the pictures above i received nadda of them products!! Im not complaining about this box because i didn't get what i wanted (although its a shame) i am more annoyed that yet again i received another Clarins product and for a second month running a lipgloss! I literally have enough cream, lotions and potions to last me through to next year and as far as the perfume goes you can pick these up if your local department store???  The only impressive sample in this box would be the revive - intensite creme which is £235 for 60ml.

My final thoughts, i am truly disappointed with these products, 3 out of 5 of them are skin care products even though i mainly asked to recieve beauty products when filling out my beauty profile. Some of you may think i am being picky, but i am gutted and you all probably would be as well. I am not being ungrateful because all of the samples i received are expensive in full size, i am just personally annoyed that a) my beauty profile wasn't considered (why even ask us to fill them out) and b) for receiving similar products to the month before. A bit of feedback for GB I think they should reconsider the way people's boxes are picked out otherwise they could loose a lot of customers.

Let me know your thoughts if you received a box this month
P.S if anyone would like the body lotion, versace sample, clarins extra firming cream or lipgloss i will send to you if you pay postage.

Best wishes

Sheers & Skins

I haven't left you many blog posts at all, but i have been stupidly ill all week. I have been one big infection mess all week, first i get tonsillitis, then my kidneys get infected and also my pancreas. Hence the not wanting to take photos of myself or anything for that matter. But rest assured i am back again, and a quick warning due to the amount of university work i might blog a little less but i am here i promise :).

Rimmel - 1000 Kisses Lip Tint

Another lip product review, but it's nice to share my views on products that you might be interested in buying. So here it is a new product on the scene, lip tint. They come in 5 shades i brought mine in nothing but nude which is the one furthest on the left. They cost £5.99 each, which is okay if you really enjoy it, but i just didn't get on with it all that much and here's why...

The colour as you can see from the picture above is such a pretty colour and the pigment is great even on the lips. Its just a subtle peach, which you can tell you have on but it's not 'in-your-face' so it would be perfect for work, school, college etc. Down to applying the product it is literally like felt tipping your lip in, which i guess is the purpose as the tip is like a felt tip but you would expect it to be soft and it's not so it literally feels like scrubbing your lips with sandpaper. I have dry/cracked lips quite often and i am forever moisturising them, i know this comes with a moisturiser but it just really dries out my lips, which isn't a good thing, no ones is gonna wanna kiss a girl with dry lips lets face it :P. i recommend apply the moisturiser probably every half an hour, but seriously who has time to do that?? Apart from the bad stuff it does have a upside because its a tint it lasts forever. If you have lips that moisturise themselves then this product is great! i rate it a 4/10!

Collection 2000 - Cream Puff

I have been meaning to pick this up for a while, as it is such a raved about lip cream in the blogging/youtube world, so as you do i picked it up when buying i was supposed to be buying  my boots meal deal :)
It cost me £2.99 which is a bargain, especially because of how much i enjoy using this product and its cheap enough to keep buying over and over again i might even stock up!

The concept of the cream puff is it is meant to be a moisturising lip cream which then turns matte once dried so its kinda like a lip stick in a lip gloss form. And if you don't know already you know that i can't stand lip glosses, all that shine and stickiness EURGH! This product is perfecto for me!!

I purchased the shade cotton candy and it really just compliments my skin tone, its not a overpowering pink but its bright enough to brighten anyones day up. It doesn't dry my lips out just leaves them feeling smooth enough to kiss. I really do recommend buying these, i will soon be buying the other three colours, so check back for reviews. I do wish they had more colours though because there isn't much choice, maybe they will start adding colours to the collection if they get a big enough audience buying them so get buying! 9/10
