January Glossy Box

January Glossy Box
Limited addition Valentines Glossy Box, absolutely love the colour. This months box has been designed around making you feel your best for Valentines day.

1) Eyeko Skinny Eyeliner

I am really happy that this is in this months box as i was disappointed that Eyeko decided to be more of a higher end brand and their prices rocketed. This eyeliner is in midnight blue, which i am also happy about because i normally buy black, this colour is perfect for a night out when you just want that tint of colour.

2) Clarins Extra Firming Day & Night Cream.

With so many age groups now receiving Glossy Box have started to cater for all the target markets and here we have it Clarins. My grandmother always jokes and says 'The trick to younger skin is to start using aging creams when your 21' This is already of my wishlist for my 21st!!

3) FAB Moisturizer

They have put in the FAB moisturizer and on the card it says the body wash?. I think they made a cock up!! Nevertheless I am always looking for new moisturizers, just because i have really sensitive skin. This product says its irritant free for all skin types. Hopefully it suits my skin.

4) Murad Hybrids Skin Perfecting Primer

I am a big fan of no.7 colour calming primer at the moment. I haven't heard of Murad until today so i am excited to try this primer out.

All in all i am actually really happy with my glossy box, apart from the hiccup, there are some great deals and offers in it as well. if you haven't already subscribed to glossy box do it now, that also goes for you men out there as they have just released their first box catered to men .

Collective Haul

First haul of the year

So here are some items i have brought throughout January. These were brought all at different times so its going to be a bit random, let's crack on.

Chelsea Boots -

These are from ASOS and cost me £45. I saw these in topshop for £62 and it wouldn't bother me paying that much for shoes as its something i love and the shoes are timeless. I happened to stubble across some from ASOS, they are real leather + they were a bargain!!

Arty Ring -

Unfortunately my money wouldn't stretch as far as i would have liked for a real YSL Arty ring so i grabbed this for a very small amount off of eBay. (great look alike if i do say so myself)

Small Dangle Cross Earrings -

I have an addiction to cross' these small earrings are from river island costing £3.00. I got these last week so more than likely there are probably still online and in the stores.

Elongated Cross Studs

I  fell in love with these earrings, i haven't seen anything like them and again they are crosses!! I can't remember the price but they weren't more than £5.00

Alexander Mcqueen Silk Skull Scarf -

I don't think i need to write anything about this you all know how beautiful they are.

Motel Skinny Jordan Jeans -

These beauts are from Motel, you can buy them from Topshop at a whopping £70 or go for the cheaper option and actually get them from Motel Rocks for £48 pounds. They are still a little bit pricey but they are handmade and such great quality. Stick to your normal size when buying as they are stretchy jean material and they look fabulous on!!

 Thierry Mugler Alien Perfume -

As all you bloggers/you-tubers already know this has been a huge sensation everywhere. i have been wanting it for ages now and couldn't bare to part with £50 for just a mere 30ml. So i had an idea looked on eBay and found this unwanted Christmas present for £25 BARGAIN!

Speckle Panel Sweat Top -

I love this slouch jumper from Topshop it simply goes with everything and another good reason to buy it comes in about 3 more different colours. Buy the same size as you are as it comes with plenty of room. £26.

 Burnt Out Aztec Sweat -

Excuse the picture, but i couldn't find anyway of making this sweat look nice so click here for the picture on Topshop. This looked so lovely online and when it arrived i thought they had the sizing wrong as its so huge and baggy. I really like the pattern on it so i refuse to take it back as i WILL find something to wear with it! £26

Vintage Canvas Backpack-

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I urge everyone to get one, mine was from ASOS in the sale costing £16. Read my post here all about backpacks.

PLEASE NOTE: this post was in no way shape or form to try and brag. I like reading haul posts as you can see what garments are new in the shops saves you searching forever for something. So no bad comments.

About -
'We believe in buying ingredients only from companies that do not commission tests on animals and in testing our products on humans.
We invent our own products and fragrances, we make them fresh by hand using little or no preservative or packaging, using only vegetarian ingredients and tell you when they were made.

We believe in long candlelit baths, sharing showers, massage, filling the world with perfume and in the right to make mistakes, lose everything and start again.
We believe our products are good value, that we should make a profit and that the customer is always right.
*We also believe words like 'Fresh' and 'Organic' have an honest meaning beyond marketing.'

1) Happy Hippy

Is a hair and body shower gel, the product is a get up, get started for the day shower gel and the fragrance does definatley that. Its a very zesty fragrance and its smells like grapefruit (Grapefruits smells divine yet tastes so horrible!) The most important thing about this product and the reason behind why i love it so much. Even washing your hair at night you cant really smell your hair unless you shake it about abit, but if you was your hair with this you wake up and its the first thing you smell. I have used this just on my hair like a shampoo and then conditioned over it and it has left my hair uber soft and smelling beautiful 10/10. I think i need another trip to lush to buy the bigger bottle.

2) Rub Rub Rub

Is a exfoliating scrub, i tend to go for the thick scrubs like Flake Away Body by Soap & Glory as i tend to scrub it on dry and then rinse it off. I have found that this scrub on the other hand is more like a shower gel abit watery for me so i needed to use quite a bit to get my legs exfoliated just the way i like them. After using it and then rinsing my skin is so soft, i also have quite dry skin so i definitley recommend. Rub Rub Rub is also great for washing hair apparently due to the salt content, so i tried it with my regular shampoo and the results were fantastic my hair had grew in size which is bloody brilliant as i hate having flat hair bonus! It also smells divine as it leaves a subtle hint of lemon on your skin/hair. 8/10

3)Sweetie Pie

Now this was an experience lol. Sweetie pie is a wobbly jelly shower gel, it is literally like jelly! i had a bit of trouble using this i didn't want to break it up as i thought it looked great nicely together in the pot so i attempted to use it as a whole. I just rubbed it on until a lather and then rinsed but it was so slippery so i recommend breaking it up into smaller bits first! Apart from that it smells amazing just like blueberry's the only downside is it made me feel a little sticky whilst i was drying off but afterwards it left my skin feeling so soft this is due to the carrageen seaweed used in it. If your not into sweet stuff don't buy this as its sweet enough to eat! You can also use this product on your hair if your in a rush. 7/10

4) Gorgeous moisturizer/face cream

so i got this in a trial size which is tiny so i have only really been using it on my hands and face. The moisturizer is fab and leaves your skin feeling like a baby's bum. But in actual fact i am not so keen on the scent it smells like a face cream, an older ladies face cream and i am just not about to shout about it. I actually looked at the real product in the shop and holy moly its £37.50 for just a tub of 45g.. A little bit expensive but apparently the formulas was the face cream princess Diana used, unfortunately i think ill stick to the trial size. 5/10

5)Bubblegum Lip Scrub

It does exactly what it says on the tin, its a lip scrub that tastes of bubblegum and its good enough to eat, though i wouldn't recommend it. It saves you using your toothbrush to clear dead skin of your lips. It is made from castor sugar (to scrub) and jojoba oil (to moisturize). I use this before i apply any lipstick, it leaves your lips kissable. I hate that this product has a con to it, but it doesn't have a long enough expiry date! for that its a 9/10.

The great thing about most shower gels/scrubs is that they can all be used on body and hair due to there natural ingredients!
